A shooting at a gas station near South Campus resulted in one man being hospitalized, according to a Saturday Post-Standard article.

At about 3:20 p.m., police and emergency responders were called to the Mobil Mart at Nottingham Road and Tecumseh Street, The Post-Standard reported. The windows of a white Lexus SUV in the gas station’s parking lot were shot out, and Syracuse police officers investigating a second crime scene at the intersection of Nottingham Road and Broad Street were overheard talking about gun casings on the road.

Residents reported they saw a dark SUV speeding away from the crime scene.

Syracuse and DeWitt police, Rural Metro Ambulance and the DeWitt Fire Department responded to the scene.
