Get ready for Mayfest 2016 act Louis The Child by listening to these songs and remixes before the big event.

“It’s Strange”

Their debut single featuring alternative artist K. Flay, released in September 2015, was what put them on the map. Taylor Swift’s Instagram that featured a photo of “New Songs That Will Make Your Life More Awesome (I Promise)” even included the song on its list.

“Adventure Club — Wonder (Louis The Child Remix)”

The teenage Chicago-based duo took ownership of “Wonder” in their remix with an upbeat style and energetic-sounding beats.

“Zella Day — Compass (Louis The Child Remix)”

Zella Day is an LA-based modern pop singer/songwriter, and her song “Compass” has is soft and lush sounding. In contrast, Louis the Child’s remix of the song is vibrant and animated — totally dance-worthy.

“Kaskade – Never Sleep Alone (Louis The Child Remix)”

The electronic dance music duo has over 140,000 followers on Soundcloud. Louis The Child opened for Kaskade when they stopped in Chicago on their “Automatic” tour.
