A$AP Ferg, Playboi Carti to co-headline Juice Jam 2018

UPDATED: Aug. 31, 2018 at 9:16 p.m.

Rappers A$AP Ferg and Playboi Carti will co-headline this school year’s Juice Jam Music Festival, University Union announced Friday afternoon.

A$AP Ferg emerged on the music scene in 2012 when his solo work gained popularity through the rap group, A$AP Mob, of which he is a founding member. Since then, the Harlem rapper has collaborated with major artists including Ariana Grande and Meek Mill. He released a solo album,“Trap Lord,” in 2013. His platinum hit single, “Plain Jane,” was released in 2017 on the album “Still Striving.”

Playboi Carti, who is signed to A$AP Mob’s label, AWGE, has been featured on several of its tracks. In April 2017, the Atlanta rapper’s self-titled mixtape debuted at the #12 spot on the Billboard 200.
