Syracuse was seeking its first conference win in almost 700 days on Friday night. But Notre Dame proved superior to the Orange and won, 3-2, at SU Soccer Stadium. SU pulled within a goal with around seven minutes remaining, but could not break through for an equalizer. The winless conference streak now stretches 694 days for Syracuse.
